The Dutch love their markets. Almost every city has a weekly market (weekmarkt). The Albert Cuyp market in Amsterdam is the largest. Dutch cheese (kaas) comes in many varieties: jong (young/mild), belegen (mature), and oud (old/sharp). The famous Gouda and Edam cheeses are named after Dutch cities!
