Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lingo Lango really free?
Yes! Lingo Lango is completely free to use. All languages, lessons, and exercises are available at no cost. We believe language learning should be accessible to everyone.
How long does it take to learn a language?
It depends on the language and your goals. With consistent daily practice (15-30 minutes), most learners reach A2 level in 2-3 months and B1 in 6-8 months. The key is consistency!
What is the CEFR framework?
CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) is an international standard for describing language ability. It has 6 levels: A1-A2 (Basic), B1-B2 (Independent), and C1-C2 (Proficient).
How does spaced repetition work?
Our algorithm tracks how well you know each word. Words you struggle with appear more frequently, while mastered words are spaced out over longer intervals. This optimizes your memory retention.
Can I learn multiple languages at once?
Absolutely! You can switch between languages anytime. We recommend focusing on one language until you reach A2 before adding another, but it's totally up to you.
Do I need any prior knowledge?
Not at all! Our A1 lessons start from absolute zero. We teach you the alphabet, basic sounds, and fundamental phrases before building up to more complex topics.
